Lessons for all levels. . .
Absolute Beginners:
Help in renting or purchasing an instrument; history and mechanics of the saxophone; correct embouchure (your mouth!); reeds, mouthpieces; fingering, with a chart; posture; breathing and sound production; basic music theory.
First, second and third year students:
Individualized practice routines; focused attention on different music styles; in depth music theory instruction; history and heroes of jazz; anatomy of favorite player styles and techniques.
Music and jazz theory only:
For those students of jazz not looking for saxophone lessons, Dave offers a survey of jazz history, styles and players. Included in this 4 session course are timelines, biographies, discographies and resources to further explore this rich art form!

2. Pay for one 30 minute lesson ($30), or for four lessons ($100). Pay over the phone or by Venmo @davesjazz or by using one of the PayPal buttons below.
3. Depending on your phone, tablet or computer, Dave will help you download and install the right software (usually for free) for your lessons.
